// To be or not to be... haha.

I'd just like to state for the record that Matt is not the only drama geek here. I am also a drama geek, but of course, my onstage experience is very limited, BUT I have been starring in a 17 year running monologue titled Inside Steph's Head. You guys should all get tickets. I heard the Vancouver Sun gave it a five star rating. haha

Anyway, today was awesome! My mom keeps saying how I'm not allowed out from now 'till school starts and I should be winding down and getting myself mentally ready for Grade 12, right? But Matt Moore called this morning and like, WHOA! Mom's all like, "Yeah, you can go. Just be back by 4 PM." So my brother and I went to go jam with Nick and Matt, and turns out Dyllan was there and I had invited Sam to play drums and Kelsey showed up, it was like a par-tay. After that, the rest of the day was spent bumming around the house and cleaning random things. I got new sweat pants though! Bright yellow. Hurrah!

I'm going swimming for the last time in my pool this summer. Last chicken fight of the summer. Last sauna lock-in of the summer. Man, I'm going to miss the good times.

I shall miss summer, too. lets all shed a tear for summer. don't worry, Stephanie, it's the way summer would have wanted it to be!

anyways, hey, Matt, I forgot to tell you, yes there is a scale, and yes we are ridiculously high upon it. To be as high as we are on the theatre person scale, you have to be able to cope with random nakedness, and sexual behavior in copious amounts (such as acting out advice from the Kama Sutra in front of a room of people you've never met before). You must be able to sing three+ part harmony at full voice in public, and/or act out scenes from recent plays, also in public. You must be ENTIRELY willing to make a scene WHEREEVER YOU GO! mwa-ha-ha-ha... You must be able to keep up your end of a conversation about one of the following topics: Shakespeare, The Beatles, politics, how you plan to save the world. You may not have any qualms about *public displays of affection* with everybody, including members of your own sex, individuals who are much much older than you (as long as they are sweet and harmless), and anyone else you have the temerity to hang out with. Amazing amounts of loud behaviour that would be obnoxious if it were not so darn funny! And unfortunately a healthy/borderline unhealthy appreciation for yourself in an unadulterated and extremely egotistical manner.

anyways, that is what being a theatre person is to me and my friends! I hoe you don't find it too overwhelming--or (*cringe*) sacriligious or anything! lol! now lets see how high you are on this scale of theatre peopleness!

Queen of Naniamo??? I'm a ferry freak (I don't know why, probably because I studied the ferries over on Galiano Island) and you live on Naniamo, you wouldn't be taking that ferry! Unless were actualy talking about a queen.

Oh yes, everything you said above pretty much matches up with mainstage (my drama program). The singing part ranges though, because I'm told I can sing but I don't know, not 3 parts. And yes, in Bye Bye Birdie, there were hard core kissing scenes! I swaer I saw tounge in one with these two flirts who just hapened to end up as the couple in the play

hey MattyRob! I just found out from your OH-SO-USEFUL-FOR-STALKING msn profile that you like trains. well guess what, me too! I even live right beside train tracks. It can get kind of frightening though, especially if you're standing next to the tracks, and a freight train is coming. It looks like you'll be clobbered presently.
