// Another Chapter Complete in The Book of MattyRob

I am an official graduate of the British Columbia Institute of technology. I feel very proud of myself. Let me tell you, this was very bitter/sweet. I loved that class, and never again will I have a class like this one. I will post more when i get the chance!

// Where Pinto meets Whatever

It is true! I have met the one and only Alleah tonight! We had tons of fun hanging out downtown with her two friends. I have no clue how to spell one of the persons name, but the other guy was Steven!(Alleah, give me the proper spelling of thier names!) I remember Steve! No name was incredibly hilarious! I called him a TV. It was a thing we had.

I even acted like a tourist downtown today. We went to the harbour centre, and kept going up and down the elevator! I was incredibly freaked because I'm afraid of heights and I kept having this fear the elevator was going to break and we would fall to are painfull deaths, but it never happened, and I am posting! So I am alive! For reference, Alleah isn't as small as she makes herself seem. I measured her on the SOM (scale of matt) and she comes up to about my chest. I've seen shorter ones.

So now that we have officially met, I can put a picture to the blog's face! I wasn't really sure what to expect tonight, and this is the first time i've ever met somebody for the first time JUST LIKE THAT! It was really...wierd? It was a first, that's for sure! We have known each other for almost about two years (blog wise) and never once before Tuesday have I heard her voice, nor she has heard mine. It was just really crazy. Kind of like, I don't even know! Like we know each other a little bit, but we don't know each other....how very crazy!

Anyhoo, thanks for the good times tonight! I enjoyed it! I didn't talk much, which was a first, but I just enjoyed listening to thier conversations the entire night! Anyhoo, I have a lack of sleep, I got to go to bed

Goodnight

// Food? What Food?

I have completed the 30 hour famine, and it was very exciting! I honestly would have liked to go on a bit longer! I realized that if you're doing the famine, stay around fun friends, because you completly forget that you're hungry. All afternoon I was hungry, until I got to youth, and I completly forgot about it. Speakin' of which, youth was good fun!

I got to youth, and started beating the kids, and then the kids started to beat me, to a point where it really started to hurt! I honestly wasn't too sure how to fight them, since I didn't want to hurt them. Anyhoo, we got to gather and give and the beats stopped. Gather and Give was alright, and we stayed until about 9:15. It's amazing to see that the youth love to go to things like that...well, I wouldn't say 'love' but are willing to come. Anyhoo, Jade had to leave early, which was allright.

Once back at the church we played video games/watched a movie. The guys mostly played video games, and we had a "Super Smash Bros" Tornament. It was pretty awesome, although I was very cocky, and I ended up losing a bunch of rounds! OH! Then we played Goldeneye, and NOBODY could beat me. So we did 3 vs 1, everybody against me, and David and Eric were on a team with Alex, and it was so incredibly funny! Eric and David could not shoot anything, and when they did, they shot each other! I could not stop laughing! The best part was David and Eric were in the same room, and I was coming and David picked up a gun, and yells "Eric, get out of the way!" and immidiatly after he shoots Eric and kills him, and I come in and kill David! Wow, it was just hilarious!

After that we played a game called Alien, which for you RPC'ers out there, its much like Gorgon. The main difference is that there are two people going around tagging people, and only one 'weapon' which is actually a person. The person which is designated 'the weapon' hides, and all the people have to find the weapon. Once you find the weapon, you have to hold onto the weapons hand and tag the alien, then its game over! I was the weapon once, and I thought I had a pretty good hiding spot, but it took 11 minutes for them to find me.

Then we watched Shrek 2, and after that, at about 3am, most of the people decided to go to sleep. I wanted to watch Spiderman with the remaing people who were awake, but I fell asleep.

The youth woke up at 9!!! Way to early! Anyhoo, they had started watching Gladiator and I remember watching Gladiator with Dylan back on Galiano a few months back, but I fell asleep like 30 minutes into the movie. Luckily, I woke up today 30 minutes into the movie! So I got to finish it! After watching Gladiator, we played hockey! That was too much sweat for not having properly woken up. So it was about 12:30 when we ended hockey and we just did whatever.

Pizza arrived at 2 and we finally got to eat! The 30 hour famine was complete! It was Aaron's last youth event, and Christina's last even as well, and it was a little sad to say goodbye, as they'll be moving far away for a little while. Aaron is moving to Ontario to work at GM so he won't be back until after summer. Christina is from England and she's getting married, so she'll be back sooner then Aaron. Anyhoo, I wish them the best of luck.

Wow, I can't even remember being hungry! I felt incredible that I wasn't starving or anything, and I think one day I want to actually fast for like 5 days. Matt was telling me how he did that, and on the third day, he just found some kind of energy, and he said it was amazing. It felt horrable when it actually came time to eating, because I know then after 30 hours of not eating in like Africa, they don't get pizza. So after this experiance, I want to do two things. First, I was to fast for 5 days and raise money. Secondly, I want to actually go to Africa, and help feed some kids, or families. This probably won't happen for a while since it's going to cost a lot of money, but I'm hoping I can do that. I really want to just see first hand what it is like.

Well look at that, 3 post in 3 days, i'm on a roll.

// BCIT Whatever Farewell

This most likely will be my last post at BCIT, but lets face it, I only posted probably once or twice from BCIT!

Yep, I am posting, which means for once I have some spare time. I did another math exam this morning, and we don't really have much of a class today. We're going on a field trip in about 40 minutes so in that time, I'm just posting somewhat of a "good-bye" post with blogger and BCIT. Seems like just yesterday that I posted about the start of school, and now I am posting about the end. I'm probably one of the few 05 Grads to graduate in their first year of post secondary. It's definitely been an interesting ride my friends.

I'm doing the famine as we speak. I'm doing pretty well since I ate some breakfast. If anybody wants to support me I need funds badly!!! Thanks!!!

So now on my intended schedule, I'm going to do my CRM exam on Monday, as well as my Safety final. Tuesday I will hopefully do my 2 math tests, and my final 2 Business exams. I'm also hopefully going to make a small gift on Tuesday as well.

Anyhoo, I'm out

// Bruce Williamson, You Are Mighty

That's it folks, rules and regulations is finished! The hardest class of the year! Not only the hardest class of the year, but with the hardest instructor of the year. He was as well one of the best instructors/teachers I have ever had, and today was the last of rules and regs, taught by good ol' Bruce Williamson. Not only was this the last day of classes with Bruce, but it was also the last day BCIT would see Bruce since he will not be coming back, and he is going to be sorely missed.

It was a bitter/sweet ending, since basically we're done, but I probably won't see the guy for a long time, may be never again.

I got 91% on the final exam for rules and regs, and Bruce was "floored" by my mark. I'm pretty sure that's a good thing though. He seemed really impressed with my final mark, and overall I got an 84% in the class, and I truly am satisfied.

This week has been a little insane. Monday studied all night and didn't go to bed until 2am. Then I had my rules and regs final on the Tuesday, and hockey afterwards. Tuesday night was filled with studying for a Safety Exam, which I did on Wednesday. Then I went to Timmy Ho's at about 6:3pm and studied up for math today with Joel and Jasmine! I think I'm incredibly math smart now! Not really, but getting there. Anyhoo, I couldn't sleep after going to bed at 12, so I got up at 1 and started studying for math again! I ended up going to bed at about 3:30am, just under 4 hours of sleep. As I said before, today was the last day of rules and regs, so we said are goodbye's to Bruce, and I did math exams! I could only do Chapter 4 because I'm uberly slow! Then I went to the gym for the first time this week and worked out!

Tonight I went out to Sunny Tsawwassen in the rain to visit Bill! I had an incredibly good time and we talked a little about finances because I'm going to need to know what I'm doing in a couple months when I start making tons of money! I honestly won't know what to do with it! So Bill gave me the low-down on banking, budgeting, credit cards, savings, and the stock market and what not. I have basic understanding now, so I'm incredibly happy!

The days ahead promise no rest, and I swear my hand is starting to cramp up. My right hand at this present time is killing me! Tomorrow is the 30 Hour Famine and I have only raised a miserable $10. It doesn't look too good that's for sure! It's also an all-nighter so I don't know how I'm going to survive. Saturday will most likely be filled with lots of sleeping...oh, and did I mention I'm not allowed to eat?

Sunday will be filled with studying for CRM and one more Safety Exam. At this current moment I have 3 more math exams I have to do, and 2 Business exams! Am I worried? Just a little bit. I am actually more excited then anything lately! I'm hoping to be getting a job with SRY and I have applied with them, and I can only hope things go well. I ask for your prayers as I am going through crunch time, and I need a job!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Bruce Williamson!

What can I say, he was good times

Please apply within!

// Scream

I was watching the sports news tonight, only to come across the slumping Edmonton Oilers. They showed a clip where Sergei Samsanov passed Ryan Smyth the puck, and Smyth had almost an open net, but Legace robbed him. They had Smyth miked, and right after the play he just screamed in frustration.

I, myself, would like to take this time to scream in frustration...

AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been worst, but I can't really remember a time when I was so stressed out about every little single thing that life throws at me. Honestly, almost nothing is fun anymore! It's always problem after problem after problem! BAH!!!! Just shoot me now!

// Pay Up Front and Make A Wish

Time to take the nest step in life very soon, however, I have to survive April. Hey! I'm posting!

This month has been/is going to be incredibly insane. Finishing up school is going to be very very tough. Not just with exams and what not, but mentally. I gained tons of friends through the course. Anywho, I need to finish up math, which is my main concern.

I'm hoping to go visit Andrew MacG next Saturday up at Summit. The weekend after that, i'm hoping to be going to Galiano with the gang from school. The weekend AFTER that, it's grad weekend, that's going to be interesting!

Anywho, there has been tons on my mind lately, and I've been trying to everything all at once. Home has been pretty stressful, and school recently has had a lot of tension, which hasn't been very good. With all that said of me being busy and all, I really haven't had the time to fit God into my busy agenda. Kind of dispicable, but I always make sure to pray before going to bed everynight. Better then nothing? Meh, I still got a long ways to go.

Anywho, what I really need to figure out, where and when am I going on vacation?! and how am I going to afford it?! Next question, where am I going to work while I wait for a railway to pick me up? When will a Railway pick me up? Which railway will pick me up? Will I have to move? Do I want to move? Friends? Historymaker video? Moving? Food? Money? WORK? Food? Have my own place?

These are the little things that drive me insane
