// Soon Enough All Your Hard Work Will Fail

My first spare day since, wow... who knows. I must say, being spare guy is probably my favorite job at work since you have a pretty good chance of not working. However, it always sucks just waiting around for work to phone you. Nevertheless, I got a spare day Wednesday, and I was never called! Hurray!

So with my spare day you would think I would do something fun and productive? Fun, yes. Productive, no. I woke up about 3pm and I didn't do anything until 7:30. I cooked myself some hash browns around 6 and then I started the debate if I go to drama or bowling. I didn't really want to go bowling since I had no clue who was going. Davethew was at home with the stomach flue building a desk in his washroom (hehehehehe...) so he was out. Sam is a wee bit to young for CNC and Dyllan didn't pick up his phone (apparently he was sleeping). So I decided to go to drama even though I was pretty much an hour late.

I'm glad I decided to go to drama because it was actually really fun. They were brainstorming idea's for the drama they were going to do at Breakaway and the topic was Move. Anyhoo, I personally think we went of topic a few times and I was sometimes wondering "how did we get onto this conversation?" But the conversations were really good... all of them. People weren't just talking and nodding there heads but questioning what was being said and adding on more to what was being said and I thought that was pretty dope. Made the night very cool. After that we spent some time at DQ and Brenda payed me $1 to buy her a free Peanut Buster Parfait. I ate my dinner... or was it lunch? Probably Lunner... I then drove Sam home, followed by Marrissa, followed by Brenda. Brenda and I had some pretty deep conversations and it was pretty cool. Turns out she's off to Manitoba tomorrow for a camp! Have fun with that Brenda...

So now I'm home! I got all night for I woke up at 3, I'm not going to be able to sleep at 11. Anyhoo, what did I do all night? Nothing... Pretty sad. I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do and when I did, I had no motivation behind it! Argh! Don't you hate that? When your not motivated to do something? For example, you could do your homework, but why bother when you can watch TV! Anyhoo, I think I just wanted a friend to hang out with, but everybody either goes to school or work. That's why I'm interested in maybe taking some sort of general studies course. Something part time... just to keep me occupied. It's a thought.

Well, its 4:30... I've spent the last 90 minutes playing some game called Castle Attack 2. Anne MacG... you thought the penguin game was addicting... try this one! Well, I guess you never said it was. I just assumed you thought it was since you posted a score and I was like yea she thinks its addicting...

Anyhoo, big exciting things for me are...

Doing a major video project! I am looking forward to working with my crew. Could you some experienced cameraman/women. Yes, I do pay good money!

For now, have a good sleep!

PS. The new Blogger Spell Check is wicked awesome!

// God Bless Kevin Gordon

Ladies and gentleman, if you ever want somebody to sell you out, it's Kevin Gordon. I must say I went from pissed off to happy in a matter of seconds! It was rather nice actually!

You see, I was supposed to be going to the Tenacious D concert tonight with Steph and Kevin. I was pretty excited because Jack Black, he's pretty cool. I never got to see the movie, but I have their first album and it was pretty good and stupid at the same time. Then again, what do you expect from JB and KG? Anyhoo, I bought four tickets seeing that I knew people liked Tenacious D and would most likely be interested. So Kevin and Steph signed up.

Then Kevin is talking to me Monday and says "I Steph and I won't be able to make it..."

Well, the concert is on Wednesday... and you're talking to me know? That's very handy. It was probably a good thing he did talk to me because Steph bailed out on Tuesday, which would have given me even less time. I found this very rude by both Kevin and Steph because I mean, its only 2 days away, and now I have two extra tickets! $60 a piece. What do you want me to do with them? As you can imagine, I was very upset!

Anyhoo, luckily Kev buys all four tickets off me. What a relief! I have never been so mad at somebody, then not mad at somebody so fast! Thanks Kev, saved my life!

I hope the people who have my tickets enjoy the show! I will miss JB and KG though...

Lessons we can learn from this situation?
1. Make sure that people will want to actually go to a concert with you before you buy the tickets.
2. When they do buy the tickets, make sure they pay you IMMEDIATELY!
3. If you don't trust them, get them to sign some legal form! Hire a lawyer, its all good...
4. Ask Kevin to go to any concert your going to. If he bails out, he's just going to buy all your tickets anyway!

// Smack The Penguin

I thought it was stupid at first... until I played it over and over again!

I think my best score was 250.

Enjoy!

// Happy Valentines Return Home Day

Does it seem that everything in todays world seems so much harder? I just has to sign up for some google junk just to sign onto blogger... bah humbug I say.

After spending the past 10 days with Bill I already miss him! I feel right now as if nothing ever happened as I type on my computer like I did just two weeks ago. It's been a struggle to really figure out life and it was definitly nice to get some time away, but nothing has really changed for me.

I did enjoy vacation. It was a blast. Now I'm tired as I spent the entire night making Valentine's Day magic with Nicole! Was good times...

Goodnight dear friends...

// Whats Up!!!

Sup Gangsta's?!? Yep, it's me!

I am currently at the Honolulu Airport waiting for my flight to Maui! I'm sippin' back on my White Chocolate Mocha Frap from Starbucks and I saw they had internet! What better way to pass the time while waiting for my plane!

Vacation has been good times so far... pretty busy! I haven't even got a tan yet! This is day 4, and it rained yesterday so I couldn't really tan! It has been super duper hot! I'm not used to it really! I mean, its hot! It's not summer time! But it's hot! Super cool!

So as I said, we are leaving Honolulu for Maui. We were staying up North of Oahu at Turtle Bay, far away from Honolulu and Waikiki. It has been rather nice though since it isn't busy at all up north. It's incredibly insane once you get into town! I wish we could have stayed a little longer at Oahu, but then again, I'm looking forward to Maui.

It has been a pretty incredible experiance so far. It feel as if I should be more relaxed, but I'm not! Still trying to find a good spa for a nice massage! I hurt my tale bone while swimming yesterday and it hurts soooooo much! Its brused and swollen and it hurts to sit and bend. Hopefully that doesn't last long.

At are place in Turtle Bay I had to sleep in a fold out bed, and it was by far the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on! Unbelievable! Once of the perks of vacation was to get to sleep in a comfortable bed, but the bed I slept in makes my bed at home royal! One other thing that has bugged me is that I have had a dream about work every night. It's annoying, it truly is! I want to get as far away from work as I can, but I've drempt about work every night! I'm hoping Maui will change that!

Anyhoo, I don't have all that much to say. Thought I would post and update the world, let you all know I'm still alive. I hope to have internet connection in Maui so I might be able to drop a line more often! But I probably won't!

Aloha!

// Goodbye, farewell, ciao

I have a breakfast to be at starting at 10am and I must be at the airport by 12pm. It's 3:40am and I still have a number of things to finish.

-clean my room
-cleam my computer room
-shave
-pay phone and Visa bill
-clean my train set

I am currently trying to find my passport holder that Black's gave to me for free. I got it with my passport photo's and it had the little Black's symbol on it, so I ripped it off! Since that date, I don't know where it has gone. I hadn't got my passport in the mail yet so I couldn't have put it in there yet!

I keep walking back from my computer room and bedroom trying to find some escape route where the rooms will sudenly be clean and I keep putting that off. My room is a complete mess with clothing scattered everywhere. I have pretty much finished all my packing, I just need to throw some washroom stuff in it when I wake up and finish using it all. To be honest I'm really not sure what else I need to pack. I think I have it all, but you know that feeling you get when you think your forgeting something? Yea, I've got that...

Not to say that I'm the most popular guy or anything, but nobody has called to say goodbye or anything. I talked to Navin and we chatted up for a bit, but other then that, nobody has called, texted, or anything. There still is time, but it makes me kind of sad... am I really that much of a loser?

Anyhoo, the week has been pretty insane. Since I get back on Valentine's Day I have been trying to hammer out all the final details and so far I think I've got a pretty stellar night. Of course I can not tell you what it is since Nicole does come and check up all the time.

Nicole and I majorly OD on the Barenaked Ladies. After Sam ditched me Friday for a free private show, Nicole decided to be his replacement. I had Sam on the list so when we came in I was like "I'm Matt!" and he was like "and your guest here is Sam?" and I was like "ummm... yep!" Luckily Sam is bi-sexual name and Nicole could pass off as a Sam! Anyhoo, I found out that the show was really for a recording of a radio show that airs on Easter, so in otherwords, and Easter show! The first thing Ed says to us when he walks into the room is "I hope you like Jesus jokes."

The show was really... well I was pretty sleep deprvied since I only had four hours of sleep coming off work, but I couldn't believe how personal the show was. There were four rows in the studio, and we sat in row three. We were litteraly right in front of their faces! I was like... wow! Really? Right there? At the same time I was like "it's just BNL" but really they were right there! The show was pretty good; was all acoustic and the guys were really funny. Even though the show was pretty personal, only Ed would talk to us afterwards, and I really want to meet the rest of the band!

We went to the actual concert tonight (or I guess last night now) and we came late... luckily not too late. The opening band was still playing and BNL didn't come on for at least another 20 or 30 minutes. It was completly different from the show Friday, mainly because it was in rocking GM Place with thousands of other people! It was really crazy though... and I was kind of tired and wasn't all that prepared to take in a show (since I had been running around all day trying to get ready to go to Hawaii.) I think the same can be said for Friday's show too... I just have not been mentaly prepard for lots of things lately...

Well my fellow Bloggers, visitors, and other cyber fans out there, it is time to say goodbye, farewell, ciao! I'm off to Hawaii... very hard to believe, I know. Am I mentaly prepared for Hawaii? Hell no! I should be getting ready to go right now yet I am blogging away! I have never been away from home for more then a week, let alone out of the Country for more then a week, so I'm a little nervous. It's the first time I've traveled and I don't want to get homesick or anything. Anyhoo, if nobody will say goodbye to me, I will say goodbye to you all now.

I'll most likely try and find some sort of internet/computer source and let you know how I'm doing, but I'm not sure how well that will work. I'm either going to be freakin busy or... who knows what!

Goodnight to all, and to all a Goodnight
