// Historymaker Movie: DONE!

It's about time! Holy Moly! That was a long frustrating day! I started work at 10am on the Historymaker video, and I just finished it now! Wow... I am glad I'm done! Let me give you guys the run down...

Last night I received an email from Mark deHoog with instructions about changing the font. First of all, I've never downloaded a font in my life! I didn't even know you could do that! Luckily, Joel came to my rescue and showed me how it was done! So I installed the new font and all seemed well. The final touch ups would be a snap.

However, forgetting how technology treats me, it wasn't that easy!

The font file I downloaded from Mark wasn't a file that my editing system liked, so what does it do? Won't let me use it! So Joel had gone to bed, so I could no longer ask Joel, and good ol' Dave had no clue what to do. Well, I decided it was time to leave the computer at midnight before I lost my mind!

I was actually woken up by my cell phone with a call from Anne Brand! I didn't recognize the so I picked it up, because odd numbers I don't recognize could mean a call from SRY saying I got a job! So I picked up the phone, and now I'm going to a wedding! She asked if I could film a friends wedding on Saturday May 27th, which I really don't know what to expect, so we'll have to see how that goes. Anyhoo, that was my wake up call!

I was supposed to help Jade build his house today too, but he called me so early in the morning I just HAD to work on the Historymaker video, so I told him I would call him once I finished... Well, I just finished... I feel really bad because I said I would help him, and I didn't. Blah. Other plans that were cancelled today included lunch at Burnette High School, and some train watching with my train buddy Andrew. I was very disappointed that I couldn't do both of these fine events... But again, Historymaker video!

The day was filled with many interesting phone calls! First of all, Anne called me, which was crazy, because she never does (she is Sarah's friend!) and Darcy called me up, and Nick from Nat Bailey called me! It was incredible day for phone calls! Darcy and I talked about the video, I told him how excited I was and we just talked about how the video was going to make its way to Kamloops for Historymaker. Just to confirm with everybody, it will not be an opening video. However, it will be used for communion during the Monday Session, so everybody gets to leave after seeing my video! Hehehe... Yes! Nick called to! Asked if I wanted to come back to the Stadium, which I said yes to of course, and I told him I wasn't sure how it would work if I had a job for a railroad. So we will have to see how well that works out.

Anyhoo, this day consisted of a ton of stress. It involved installing, and uninstalling, and blah blah blah. Computers hate me, they truly do. Bottom line is that they video is done and making their way through the world wide web to Dacry and his team as we speak! Now I completely lost my train of thought so I'm going to say goodbye!

Historymaker is only hours away...
