// God Bless Kevin Gordon

Ladies and gentleman, if you ever want somebody to sell you out, it's Kevin Gordon. I must say I went from pissed off to happy in a matter of seconds! It was rather nice actually!

You see, I was supposed to be going to the Tenacious D concert tonight with Steph and Kevin. I was pretty excited because Jack Black, he's pretty cool. I never got to see the movie, but I have their first album and it was pretty good and stupid at the same time. Then again, what do you expect from JB and KG? Anyhoo, I bought four tickets seeing that I knew people liked Tenacious D and would most likely be interested. So Kevin and Steph signed up.

Then Kevin is talking to me Monday and says "I Steph and I won't be able to make it..."

Well, the concert is on Wednesday... and you're talking to me know? That's very handy. It was probably a good thing he did talk to me because Steph bailed out on Tuesday, which would have given me even less time. I found this very rude by both Kevin and Steph because I mean, its only 2 days away, and now I have two extra tickets! $60 a piece. What do you want me to do with them? As you can imagine, I was very upset!

Anyhoo, luckily Kev buys all four tickets off me. What a relief! I have never been so mad at somebody, then not mad at somebody so fast! Thanks Kev, saved my life!

I hope the people who have my tickets enjoy the show! I will miss JB and KG though...

Lessons we can learn from this situation?
1. Make sure that people will want to actually go to a concert with you before you buy the tickets.
2. When they do buy the tickets, make sure they pay you IMMEDIATELY!
3. If you don't trust them, get them to sign some legal form! Hire a lawyer, its all good...
4. Ask Kevin to go to any concert your going to. If he bails out, he's just going to buy all your tickets anyway!

Like I said, I had the money out of the bank the day after you invited me to go. I was ready to give you the cash because you said you were gonna show up at church the next evening. You never did.

If you had gotten to me when I had the cash and was still careless enough to spend it, then I would've gone. But you can't blame a person if cash flow isn't the greatest and things need to be rerouted.

So apologies if some of us don't get paid huge amounts of money that we can spend on trips to Hawaii and extra concert tickets.

And if you're going to badmouth me online, do it to my face. I'd appreciate that next time.

Appologies if some of us don't work at a daycare and go to school and so forth and so forth.

Now we could all play the blaming game here, but whats the point? I could say that I never had the ticket that night, I had to work, all sorts of things. It'll just go to you did this and you never did that and ya know, the usual fighting.

I'd probably be more defensive but the outcome turned in my favor! So... ummm... yay! Anyhoo, life goes on.

I also appreciate how you kept me updated, too.

I figured you'd found a better deal when Wednesday rolled around and I hadn't heard from you.
