// Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World
Nothing much to say, I guess; just the same as all the rest
Been tryin' to throw your arms round the world.
Very true! All though there is a lot to say, I guess. It pretty much is the same as all the rest though. Hey, great thing about listening to a band like U2, is you find all these songs you've never really listened to on their older albums. Kind of the same with any band really; you listen to their hits and forget that they actually have other songs. Anyhoo, Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World pretty much sums it up for me right now with my not as caotic life.
Thursday, October 11th was the first day back to work for me. That's right. Work! Went from June 8th to October 11th with no work. I tried my best to take advantage of my time off as well as I could! I went to Kamloops, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, The Canyon a few times. Lots of new places to be honest. It was absolutly wonderful. One thing that I would like to change if I would ever do this again is to just take my time getting to places. For example, on the way to Calgary, I was just rushing their and back. I knew that if we stopped to take in the sights I wouldn't make it. If we had somebody else with us, we could at least take shifts and stop and bask in the glory of are beautiful province some more. It truly is beautfiul country you drive through on your way to Calgary.
I may have said this before, but out of all the drives Calgary to Edmonton was the most boring. I went from Calgary to Lethbridge and back, and that wasn't anywhere near as boring as the drive to Edmonton. I don't know what it was about the drive, it was just incredibly boring!
In other news, this past weekend was the train show where Elevation Media had a booth! Yep, that's me!
Hmmmm... I'm going to have to cut this post short because one of the guys from work wants to start early, Fred isn't going to bring me food anymore, and I have to use the washroom. So this post WILL be continued!
